Fatemeh Fereydoun, born in February 1992, is an Iranian filmmaker and screenwriter based in France. She holds a bachelor's in directing from the University of Tehran and a master's in theatre directing from Tarbiat Modares University.
She has directed three short films — including The Turtle and Camion — and five theatre productions, among them Satin Island. Her work has travelled to BAM Kids, Seattle Children's, Woods Hole, Roshd, Isfahan Children and Goa.
With over five years teaching theatre and cinema in Tehran, she has produced art residencies such as the Director's Toolbox and Actor's Backpack, and was selected in 2025 for the Cité internationale des arts in Paris, funded by the Institut français.
She is currently developing her first narrative feature, Voyage, drawn from Iranian narrative tradition.
